Biography
Dr. Richard W. Barker, D.Phil., BA, OBE, serves as Senior Advisor at Aegate Limited. Dr. Barker has been a Senior Vice President of Acumen Sciences since September 2002. Dr. Barker has more than 20 years of experience in the healthcare industry in which he held a range of senior leadership roles in the United States, the United Kingdom and elsewhere internationally. His career has spanned the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical informatics sectors, thus giving him a broad perspective on the issues facing both healthcare systems and the pharmaceutical industry. From June 2002 to September 2002, he served as N.A. Health Practice Head of AT Kearney.
