Biography
Ulrich Scherhag received his B.Eng degree (Electrical Engineering) in 2012 from the Duale Hochschule Baden-Württemberg, Mannheim. He stated studying computer science in 2014 at Hochschule Darmstadt (h_da) and received the M.Sc degree (Computer Science, IT-Security) in 2016, for which he was granted the CAST Award IT-Security 2016. Since 2016 he is a Ph.D. Student Member of da/sec at the Center for Research in Security and Privacy (CRISP). He has carried out a research internship at one of the worldwide leading groups in biometric recognition, the Norwegian Biometrics Laboratory, part of the NISlab – Norwegian Information Security laboratory, at NTNU in Gjøvik. His current research focuses on Presentation Attack Detection (PAD) for Biometrics.
