Biography
Dr. Daniel Steines, M.D., MS., has been Chief Technology Officer of ConforMIS, Inc. since June 2014. Dr. Steines serves as Senior Vice President of Research & Development of Imaging Therapeutics, Inc. Dr. Steines serves as Principal Investigator on the ATP-funded "Novel Low-Cost Techniques for Diagnosis and Management of Patients with Osteoporosis" (Cooperative Agreement No. 70NANB2H3007). He served as Senior Vice President of Research & Development at ConforMIS, Inc. ConforMIS, Inc. He has done extensive research in medical image analysis and computer science/telemedicine at Stanford University and the Charité in Berlin (Germany). He developed an expertise in medical image analysis at Stanford University. He serves as a Member of Scientific Advisory Board at Imaging Therapeutics, Inc. He is inventor on more than 50 pending patent applications. Dr. Steines has an M.S. in computer science from the Technical University and an M.D. from the Technical University of Aachen.
