Biography
Bertrand de Castelnau joined DiaSys Diagnostic Systems GmbH board of management as third CEO in February 2014. He is a French citizen, and offers more than 25 years of experience in the diagnostic sector. Born in France, educated with an MBA at HEC (Ecole des Hautes Etudes Commerciales), as well as a law degree in Paris, he started his career in Islamabad, Pakistan as a Commercial Attaché. Later on, he joined Roche in Basel, Switzerland, as Corporate Auditor, and was offered a position in the Diagnostics Division in 1990. Eventually, he was in charge of the Asia Pacific region for Roche Diagnostics, and based in Singapore. Before joining DiaSys, Bertrand de Castelnau headed ABX and the Horiba Medical segment for 10 years. At DiaSys, he is heading marketing and sales as well as finances. The fact that he speaks several languages fluently is undoubtedly of advantage when it comes to further expanding the internationalization of DiaSys group.
