Biography
Mr. Bertrand de Castelnau has been Chief Executive Officer at DiaSys Diagnostic Systems GmbH since February 2014 and serves as its Member of Management Board. Mr. de Castelnau has more than 25 years of experience in the diagnostic sector. He served as the Chief Executive Officer and President of HORIBA ABX S A S (France), a subsidiary of Horiba Ltd. Mr. de Castelnau served as Senior Corporate Officer and Segment Leader of Medical-Diagnostic Instruments & Systems at HORIBA, Ltd. He served as a Member of Executive Board and Vice President of Worldwide Operations at Guerbet SA. He served as a Corporate Officer at HORIBA, Ltd. He started his career in Islamabad, Pakistan as a Commercial Attaché. Later on, he joined Roche in Basel, Switzerland, as Corporate Auditor, and was offered a position in the Diagnostics Division in 1990. Eventually, he was in charge of the Asia Pacific region for Roche Diagnostics, and based in Singapore. Before joining DiaSys, he headed ABX and the Horiba Medical segment for 10 years. Mr. de Castelnau educated with an MBA at HEC (Ecole des Hautes Etudes Commerciales), as well as a law degree in Paris.
