David Gwyn

Biography

With more than 25 years of experience in the Life Sciences industry, David is a seasoned executive with extensive experience delivering solutions to clients in the industry, with a particular focus in the areas of content management and collaboration. David is the Practice Head of the Content Management and Collaboration Practice which develops and delivers business solutions across all areas of the R&D segment for pharmaceutical, medical device and biologics companies. Key solutions include Clinical Portals, electronic Trial Master Files (eTMF), regulatory and controlled content management, and submission publishing. The Collaboration practice offers services for SharePoint enablement, content management, web and portal application development, and business process management (BPM) deployment. David also leads the DIA EDM Submission Reference Model team, which has developed a document architecture for use when designing and building content management solutions. This architecture has been leveraged by numerous companies and vendors to provide submission management solutions that are compliant with global regulations. David is expanding the focus of the group to include a Structure Content Management (SCM) view of the model, designed to assist companies in the move from traditional unstructured content management to the economic benefits of content reuse.
