Biography

  Christine Batzl-Hartmann, Ph.D is the Founder of Pharmacelsus GmbH in 2000 and serves as it's Chief Executive Officer. Dr. Batzl-Hartmann is the Co-Founder of ElexoPharm GmbH and serves as it's Scientific Advisor. She has been in the pharmaceutical industry for 8 years. She served as the Senior Scientist of Novartis Pharma in Basel, Switzerland. She has experience in various research projects with the major focus on in vitro testing on potency and in vivo pharmacology. She is the 1996 co-recipient of the Pharma Research Award of Ciba-Geigy, Ltd., which she received in recognition for her pharmacological work in the NPY project. She holds a Ph.D. in Pharmaceutics from the University of Regensburg.
