Biography
He led the development of the WaterGAP model used in early studies of global water scarcity, and the IMAGE 2 model, one of the first integrated models of climate change. He was co-developer of the RAINS model, one of the first international integrated assessment models.
Research Interest
Global modelling of the environment, integrated assessment modelling, climate impact research, global water research, and environmental scenario analysis.
