Biography
Mr. Patterson was appointed Vice President, Neurovascular R&D in July 2016. Mr. Patterson has over 20 years of medical device and academic experience. Prior to MicroVention, Mr. Patterson served as the Vice President, R&D and Operations at Sequent Medical, which was acquired by MicroVention's parent company Terumo Medical in 2016. Mr. Patterson has worked in various R&D positions for Baxter Healthcare, TherOx, Micro Therapeutics, ev3, and Luminous Medical. Mr. Patterson received BS and PhD degrees from UC Davis and UC Irvine and a postdoctoral fellow at the UCLA-DOE Institute.
