Biography
He has done his PhD in 1991 from University of Freiburg and Postdoctoral work at Harvard University, Cambridge, USA. He is a Group leader at EMBL Grenoble since 1995,Head of Unit at EMBL Heidelberg since 2007 He has a Joint appointment with the Genome Biology Unit. He is also a ERC Advanced Investigator.
