Studied Food and Fermentation Technology at the Technical University in Berlin, specialising in Brewing Technology and Distillers. Research associate in the Water Technology Department of the VLB Berlin – Versuchs- und Lehranstalt für Brauerei. Dissertation topic: Studies on the recirculation of steep water in malting. Head of the central laboratory of the VLB, organisation and implementation of contract analysis. Lectureship in Thermal Preservation Processes at the Beuth University of Applied Sciences Berlin (formerly Technische Fachhochschule, TFH) in the Faculty of Food Science and Technology. Head of the Department of Chemical Technology at EUWA H. H. Eumann GmbH, Water Treatment Systems. EUWA builds water treatment systems worldwide specifically for the beverage industry. Since the beginning of 2012 Professor of Biotechnology Engineering, Department of Food Technology at Fulda University of Applied Sciences.
