Biography
Since 2010, Sarhan Dhouib has been working on the research project "Ethics of Globalization" at the Chair of Practical Philosophy at the Institute of Philosophy of the University of Kassel and since 2011 on the publication project "Grundriss der Geschichte der Philosophie - Philosophie in der Isllamischen Welt. 19th to 20th century "(edited by U. Rudolph and A. von Kügelgen). In the summer semester of 2016, he attended the guest lecturer "Philosophy in Comparison of Cultures" (focusing on Arabic-Islamic philosophy) at the University of Bremen
Research Interest
German classical philosophy (especially Schelling's philosophy), classical and modern Arab-Islamic philosophy, political philosophy, philosophy of human rights, intercultural philosophy.
