Biography
Maria Roser Valenti education:Diploma September 1987 in Universitat de Barcelona (Spain). Ph.D November 1989 in Universitat de Barcelona (Spain).Fulbright Postdoc fellow February 1990 - August, 1991, in the University of Florida, Gainesville (USA). Research assistant September 1991 - August 1997 in Institute of Physics II, University of Dortmund (Germany). Awards and Fellowships: American Physical Society Fellow since 2016 Michael and Biserka Baum prize (2009) - Full cast and crew. Heisenberg Fellowship from the German Science Foundation (2002-2003). Habilitation fellowship from the German Science Foundation (1997-2000). Fulbright fellowship (1990-1991). Outstanding Physics Dissertation (Premi Extraordinary de Doctorat Universitat de Barcelona) (1992). Outstanding Physics Graduate Student Universitat de Barcelona (1989).
