Biography
Thomas Burwick has been active as a scientist and software entrepreneur. He is a FIAS Research Fellow at the Frankfurt Institute for Advanced Studies (FIAS), Frankfurt, Germany, an Adjunct Professor (PD) of Theoretical Physics at the Goethe University Frankfurt, Germany, and an Associate Member of the Maastricht Center for Systems Biology (MaCSBio), Maastricht University, in the Netherlands.In 1992, he received his Ph.D. in theoretical physics from the University of Zurich, Switzerland, with a thesis on particle physics, quantum gravity, and string theory.
