Biography
Andreas Hackethal has been Professor of Finance at the Goethe University's House of Finance since 2008. From Oct. 2011 to Sept. 2015 he was Dean of the Department of Economics and is currently enrolled as a Studiendekan. In research, he deals empirically with the topics of investor behavior, consulting and financial innovations. Since 2009, he has been a member of the advisory board of the Federal Financial Supervisory Authority (Bundesanstalt für Finanzdienstleistungsaufsicht) and since 2011 of the Exchange Experts Commission at the Ministry of Finance. He was elected professor of the year 2010 by the university magazine unicum for his assignment for students.
