Biography
Since January 2008, Antje Schlottmann has been a professor for geography and her didactics at the Institute for Humanography. She has worked in Freiburg i.Br. Studying geography and writing her master's thesis about strategic spaces in a development project in Tanzania; at the Friedrich-Schiller-Universität Jena, she has promoted from the theoretical perspective of the "RaumSprache" to the everyday-language reproduction of East and West Germany
Research Interest
"visual geographies", ie the everyday and scientific production of spatiality through images as well as visibility and invisibility and their critical reflection. The focus here is, among other things, space experiences as they are produced and marketed through advertising for so-called "outdoor sports"
