Biography
Mr. Gerhard Büttner is a professor of pedagogical psychology at the Institute of Psychology at the Goethe University in Frankfurt and head of the work unit for development and promotion in the field of pedagogical psychology.As a Principal Investigator, he is involved in several research projects at the LOEWE Center for Individual Development and Promoting Learning (IDeA). Since 2009 he is the coordinator of the Special Interest Group Special Educational Needs of the European Association for Research on Learning and Instruction (EARLI).
Research Interest
His research focuses on self-regulated learning, the development of working memory and metacognition as well as learning difficulties and intellectual impairments
