Biography
Holger Marcks has been a Research Fellow on the DFG project “Transnational Escalation Mechanisms of Violent Dissidence” within the Chair for International Organizations at the Goethe University of Frankfurt since February of 2013. He is particularly concerned with the transnational shaping of political violence in historical anarchism.
Research Interest
Strategies of violent dissidence. Dynamics of political violence. Typology of armed formations, especially in the context of the labor movement, anarchism and the “New Left”.
