Biography
Jürgen Schefzyk, dr. hc, * 28.3.1955, study of theology in Bielefeld and Bonn with a focus on church history and exegesis, 1980 Vicariate in Giessen and 1982-1994 pastor in Ensheim / Rheinhessen and Götzenhein / Dreieich. 1994 Theological speaker at the Frankfurt Bible Society. Ecumenical advisor of EKHN. Member of the governing body Year of the Bible 2003 as representative of the EKD. 1996-2008 member of the program committee of the board of the German Bible Society. From 2003 founding director of the Bibelhaus Erlebnismuseum in Frankfurt. Scientific direction of the museum under the research focus Biblical archeology and experiential education. Since 2010 founder and spokesman of the Arbeitsgemeinschaft Deutsche Bibelmuseen. Since 2011 lecturer at Goethe University Frankfurt Department of Protestant Theology. 2004
