Biography
Micha Brumlik, born 1947 in Davos, Switzerland, now lives in Berlin. After studying pedagogy and philosophy in Jerusalem and Frankfurt / Main, he was a scientific assistant to pedagogy in Göttingen and Mainz, then as assistant professor in Hamburg. From 1981 to 2000 he taught education at the University of Heidelberg. From 2000-2013 Professor at the Institute for General Education of the Johann Wolfgang Goethe-University Frankfurt am Main with the main focus "Theory of Education and Education". He also headed the Fritz Bauer Institute, a study and documentation center on the history and impact of the Holocaust, in Frankfurt am Main from October 2000 to 2005.
