Prof. Dr. Robert Ernst Education: 2002-2007 PhD in Biochemistry (summa cum laude) with Prof. Lutz Schmitt Heinrich-Heine University Düsseldorf. 1997-2002 Diploma in Human Biology Phillips-University Marburg. Honors and Awards 2012 Emmy Noether fellowship by the DFG. 2008-2010 EMBO long-term fellowship. 2007 PhD in Biochemistry, summa cum laude. 2005-2008 Member of the EU funded research training network “Flippases.” 2004 EMBO short term fellowship with Prof. Karl Kuchler. 2003 EMBO short term fellowship with Prof. Gerrit van Meer. 1999-2002 Fellowship, Studienstiftung des Deutschen Volkes.
