Biography
Sebastian Schipper has been working as a research associate at the Goethe University Frankfurt since October 2015. Before that, he studied Geography, Sociology and Economics at the University of Münster (2003-2008). In 2012, he was a professor at the Institute for Humanography on the topic "Genealogy and the Presence of the 'Entrepreneurial City' Neoliberal Government in Frankfurt am Main, 1960-2010" Institute for European Urban Studies (IfEU) at the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar (2013-2015). His research focuses on critical geography and urban research. He is currently working on the DFG research project "Urban social protests as a pioneer of a post-neo-liberal decommodification of housing supply?".
