Prof. Dr. Wilhelm Püttmann,is currently working Since 1996 C-3 professor for "Environmental Analysis" in the Department of Geosciences (Institute for Atmosphere and Environment) of the Johann Wolfgang Goethe-University Frankfurt am Main

Analysis of transport and biological degradation of hydrocarbons in soil and groundwater (natural attenuation) Development of analytical methods for "emerging contaminants" Analysis of the distribution of flame retardants (organophosphates) and gemini surfactants (TMDD) in the aquatic environment Analysis of biomarkers in coal and sediments (Paleoenvironment)
