Biography
Andreas Löffler studied mathematics in Leipzig and Berlin. In 1993 he graduated in mathematics from the University of Leipzig, after which he attended the Graduate School "Applied Microeconomics" at the Humboldt-Universität and Freie Universität Berlin; Graduation in Economics 1995. At the end of 1995, visiting scholar at the Wharton School in Philadelphia, then from 1996 to 2000 Assistant Professor at Prof. Dr. Lutz Kruschwitz (FU Berlin). 1999 to 2000 visiting scholar at the UCLA in Los Angeles. 2000 Habilitation in business administration, 2000-2005 professor of banking and finance at the University of Hannover, from 2006 to 2008 professor for banks and financing at the Friedrich-Alexander-University Erlangen-Nuremberg. From 2008 to 2011 professor for financing and investment in Paderborn. Since 2011 at the Freie Universität.
