Biography
Professor of Theory of Quantum Magnetism at Free University of Berlin
Research Interest
Our junior-research group of Prof. Reuther (assistant professor) studies strongly coupled electron systems with a special focus on quantum magnetism. We are particularly interested in a theoretical description of frustrated spin models, possibly hosting novel types of quantum states, so-called spin liquids. In collaboration with our experimental colleagues at the Helmholtz-Zentrum Berlin, we aim to transfer our knowledge about these models to real materials, in order to develop a microscopic understanding of magnetic materials.
