Biography
2000-2002 Representation of the university lecturer for the theory and sociology of public communication / media ethics at the Institute for Communication and Media Science at the University of Leipzig, Department of Historical and Systematic Communication Science. April 2002 Appointment as university lecturer for the theory and sociology of public communication with a special focus on media ethics. Since April 2003 he has been the Chair for Communication Science at the University of Greifswald April 2004 Appointment as university professor, Chair of Communication Science at the University of Greifswald October 2007 Acceptance of the professorship for journalism and communication science with a focus on communication policy / media economics at Freie Universität Berlin. 2009-2011 Dean of the Department of Political and Social Sciences May 2013 - July 2014 Vice President (VP2) of the Freie Universität Berlin since 2015 member of the Academic Senate
