Sabine Achour

Biography

Prof. Dr. Since 2015, Sabine Achour has been a guest professor at the Department of Political Dedactics / Political Education at the Otto-Suhr-Institute for Political Science at Freie Universität Berlin. She is responsible for teacher training in the fields of political education, political science and sociology (class 5/6). Before working as a research associate, she worked as a student at the school for subjects such as politics, history, and Latin. Within the framework of her research, Sabine Achour is addressing challenges for political education in an increasingly diverse society.

Research Interest

The focus is on dealing with a pluralist democracy with heterogeneity, flight and migration, inclusion, linguistic education and religious diversity, as well as the preparation of political education for learners.
