Biography
Prof. Grigoriadis was born in Serres, Greece. In 2003 he went to the USA where he studied osteuropastudien at Yale University. After completing the Yale Master's degree, he completed internships at the Russian World Bank Office and the European Commission in Moscow. In February 2012, he received his first doctorate at the Faculty of Economics of the State University of St. Petersburg (Dissertation: Models of EU Development Aid and Economic Reform in the CIS, 1992-2007), and in December 2012 the second doctorate to the political science department of the University of California Berkeley under the supervision of Prof. Gérard Roland and Prof. Barry Eichengreen (dissertation: essays on the political economics of religion). He was then employed at the Center for European Economic Research in Mannheim. He studied at the Higher School of Economics in Moscow, the WZB, the Humboldt University (HU) in Berlin, and the Haifa University in Israel.
