As of 1 June 2015 Appointment as a university professor (5 years) for ethnology with a focus on visual and media anthropology 2.05.2012 Second appointment as junior professor (after positive interim evaluation by external experts and the department of political and social sciences) June 1, 2009 Appointed to the Juniorprofessur for Ethnology with a focus on Visual Anthropology and Media at the Institute of Ethnology at the Freie Universität Berlin since Wintersemester 2008/2009 Program Director of the postgraduate master's program Visual and Media Anthropology 2007-2008 Conception of the postgraduate master's program Visual and Media Anthropology 2004-2008 Participated in the conception of the Bachelor's and Master's degree in social and cultural anthropology at the Freie Universität Berlin Since March 2000 she has been research assistant at the Institute for Ethnology at the Freie Universität Berlin 1997/98 Fellow at the Candraditya Research Center for the Study of Religion and Culture in Maumere, Flores-Ntt, Indonesia
