Biography
Errol Lord is an Assistant Professor of Philosophy at the University of Pennsylvania. He works in ethical theory, epistemology, aesthetics, and the philosophy of action. He won the 2013 Marc Sanders Prize in Metaethics. He has published extensively in journals and edited collections. His first monograph, The Importance of Being Rational , is from Oxford University Press. He received his PhD from Princeton University in 2013. He received his Masters degree from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and Bachelors degrees from Arizona State University. At FRIAS he is working on a book about how we learn about art and morality.
