Biography
Thomas Lange, born 1974, 1995-2001 studied physics at RWTH Aachen University and at the University of Edinburgh; 2000-2001 Diploma thesis at the Institute of Solid State Research, Forschungszentrum Jülich; 2001-2007 PhD at the Institute of Biomedical Engineering, ETH Zurich, on "Detection of J-Coupled Metabolites in Magnetic Resonance Spectroscopy". 06 / 2007-11 / 2007 Development of MRI and MRS methods for the validation of biomarkers for neurodegenerative diseases at the Novartis Institute of Biomedical Research, Novartis Pharma AG, Basel; since 01/2008 Research associate at the Freiburg University Hospital, Radiological Clinic - Medical Physics with Prof. Dr. Jürgen Hennig; since 11/2009 project manager of the working group "Advanced Brain Imaging".

Research focus: Magnetic resonance imaging and spectroscopy with real-time correction.
