1989 Magister Artium in Ethnology and Religious Studies at the Department of Philosophy and Social Sciences II of the Freie Universität Berlin 1994 Doctorate in Philosophy and Social Sciences at the Department of Philosophy and Social Sciences II of the Freie Universität Berlin 2006 Completion of the Habilitationsverfahren and attribution of the teaching authority by the Faculty Council of the Faculty of Philosophy and Social Sciences of the Johann Wolfgang Goethe-University Frankfurt. Published Monographs and articles in reputed journals. Published more than 25 articles.
Research Interest
Research focus: intercultural and intercultural conflicts, religious ethnology, museology, theory and ethnological field research methodology. Regional focus: Melanesia, especially Papua New Guinea (Southern Highlands Province, West New Britain Province), Indonesia, Australia
