Master of Arts in Anthropology, Johannes Gutenberg University, Mainz, Germany, 1996. Researcher Johannes Gutenberg University, Mainz, Germany, 1998—1999, researcher, science assistant Germany, since 2000, science assistant Institute Ethnogics Germany, since 2002. Organizer workshops and symposiums, 2001—2002. Received her PhD (Social Anthropology) in the year 2007. Actively participates in publishing articles. Her research interest includes Gender and age relations,The traditional practices, Human rights and many more.

Thematic focus: Gender and age relations; Social control and legal institutions; identity; Culture contact; Adaptation and resistance to cultural change; Human rights; Legal pluralism; The traditional practices; minorities. Regional focus: Southern Ethiopia, Bashada / Hamar / Banna (South Omo, Southern Ethiopia) and Bayso (Giddicho Island, North Omo).
