Biography
Prof. Dr. med. Markus Niemann has been a professor at Furtwangen University since March 2015. Study of human medicine and doctorate in Würzburg. Clinical education and medical practice in the fields of internal medicine, intensive care medicine and cardiology at the University Clinics of Würzburg and Zurich. 2013 Scholarship holder of the German Society of Cardiology and Research Fellowship at the Institute of Biomedical Engineering, ETH Zurich. Fundamental and patient-related research with particular focus on cardiac imaging and ultrasound. Author of more than 40 scientific publications.
