Claudia Lenk

Biography

 Claudia Lenk studied Technical Physics but started early to use her physics background to study physiological mechanisms. Her focus lies on the study of mechanisms underlying observations like the synchronization between heartbeat and breathing or the generation and episodic occurrence of atrial fibrillation. Therefore, she combines computational modeling with experiments. She obtained her PhD from Technische Universität Ilmenau, Germany, for her modeling studies and experiments on AF mechanisms.  Claudia Lenk studied Technical Physics but started early to use her physics background to study physiological mechanisms.
