Biography
Since November 2009 Research fellow at GIGA Institute of Asian Studies. Responsibilities: South Asia (Main focus: India), Economy and Society, socio-economic development, poverty, well-being Ph.D. in ‚Social Statistics', Centre for Census and Survey Research (CCSR) and Institute for Development Policy and Management (IDPM), University of Manchester, UK; Economic and Social Research Council Studentship (ESRC +3). Ph.D. thesis: 'Subjective well-being, human capability and monetary poverty in rural Andhra Pradesh'. M.A. Research Training in Development Studies, IDPM, University of Manchester, GB. BA in Social Sciences, University of Mannheim.
