Since 09/2016: Lecturer in Politics & International Relations, Department of Politics, History & International Relations, Loughborough University 05/2014 - 08/2016: Postdoctoral research fellow at the GIGA Institute of African Affairs, sponsored by the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation 2013 - 2014: Postdoctoral research fellow, Department of Political Sciences, Centre for the Study of Governance Innovation (GovInn), University of Pretoria. Responsible for the African case studies of the REGIOCONF project
