Biography
Armin Rohde is a professor and Chair of Economics, especially Money and Currency. Born in 1952; 1974-1979 studied economics at the University of Hanover, graduated as Diplom-Ökonom 1979-1984 Research Assistant at the Institute of Economics, Department of Money, Credit, Currency; 1984. 1984-1995 first assistant to the university, then academic superior council at the department economics of the University of Hanover 1994 Habilitation in the Department of Economics, Hanover. 1995-1996 professorship at the University -GH- Paderborn and at EMAU-Greifswald since 1997 professor in Greifswald.
Research Interest
Armin Rohde focus on the increasing internationalization of monetary policy, the monetary aspects and consequences of European integration (EMU), recent developments in monetary affairs (electronic wallet and computer money ), questions of the transmission of monetary impulses and monetary and monetary policy problems of the countries of the Eastern Seas, especially the Baltic States. The current analysis of the monetary and monetary policy of the European Central Bank also plays an important role.
