Biography
Prof. Dr. Steffen Fleßa is Head of Department of Healthcare Management at the University of Greifswald, Germany. After his training in business administration (focus on healthcare management) he gained practical experience in Tanzania for five years. Research Assistant at the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg. He is also a professor at the University of Greifswald, Germany, where he is a graduate of the University of Greifswald. He was dean of studies and vice dean of the faculty of law and economics. Currently he is vice president of the University. His main research interests are in the field of quantitative modeling, healthcare management and non-profit management in Germany as well as in resource-poor settings. He is a member of several societies, eg German Society of Health Economics.
