Biography
Prof. Dr. Eric-Paul Pâques was born in 1954 in Namur/Belgium. He studied chemistry at the Université Catholique de Louvain and graduated with a doctorate under the mentoring of Prof. Dr. R. Huber (Max Planck Institute for Biochemistry, Munich) and Prof. R. R. Crichton (Louvain). From 1980 to 1993, Prof. Dr. Pâques worked as Head of Research for the Behringwerke AG in Marburg. After his habilitation in 1990 he took up a teaching position as an invited professor at the Catholic University of Louvain.
