Biography
Roberta Tontini completed her doctoral work on the development of Islam in China by focusing on the Hui people and the Muslim Sanzijing tradition. Prior to her Ph.D. she worked at Xiamen University, where she served as an instructor at Xiamen Law School. She holds an M.A. from the University of Rome La Sapienza, and is currently teaching and conducting postdoctoral research at the University of Heidelberg.
