Biography
Sharon Shachar has over 12 years of experience in quality, regulatory and clinical execution, serving in executive roles in small and large medical companies. Prior to joining InspireMD, she held executive role at V-Wave Ltd. At V-Wave, Sharon managed all quality and regulatory activities and contributed to the execution of the V-Wave’s clinical studies, leading the company from early concept and feasibility stages to product commercialization and ISO 13485 certification. Prior to V-Wave, Mrs. Shachar served in a variety of regulatory and quality roles at several medical device and pharmaceutical companies, including Medinol Ltd. and Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. Sharon has a vast experience with both FDA applications and CE Mark submissions and leading companies towards ISO 13485 certification. Mrs. Shachar holds a MBA from the Leon Recanati Graduate School of Business, Tel Aviv University; an M.Sc from the Sackler School of Medicine, Tel Aviv University; and a B.Pharm from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
