Since April 2012 member of scientific staff at ITAS. Leader for the project part Risk perception of the BMBF project. Member of staff in the project Science Forum Electromagnetic Fields.
Research Interest
Communicating complex scientific evidence to non-experts focusing on controversial health, environmental and technology issues. How information about controversial health, environmental and risk issues and research is presented in social media, Risk information seeking, sharing, and processing; factors that drive communication behavior; implications for risk communication strategies, Design and evaluation of pandemic risk communication strategies, including communication about uncertainty and vaccine safety.
