 Studies of philosophy, comparative studies, and German Volkskunde at the Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz (JGU); PhD in 1983 “Husserls Begriff der Potentialität. Eine Untersuchung über Sinn und Grenze der transzendentalen Phänomenologie als universaler Methode” (Hussler’s concept of potentiality. An analysis on the meaning and the limits of transcendental phenomenology as a universal method); habilitation in philosophy in 2001 in the field of economics and social sciences at the University of Kaiserslautern (media ethics). 2009 extracurricular professor at the University of Kaiserslautern.
