Rangaraju Manickam

Biography

Since May 1st 2015 Manickam Rangaraju is heading AiCuris' development department. He started his carrier as practicing physician following undergraduate and post-graduate studies in medicine with specialisation in infectious diseases and tropical medicine. Manickam Rangaraju has 24 years of experience in clinical development prior to joining AiCuris at Roussel Uclaf, Hoechst, Marion Roussel, Aventis, Novexel, Actelion and Polyphor. He held various positions and has been responsible for the clinical and pre-clinical development of a number of antimicrobials of different classes and regulatory submissions. He was also actively involved in creating Novexel, a spin-off company after raising necessary funds and creating value for the company. Additionally, he has been involved in successful in and out licensing deals.Manickam Rangaraju has authored/co-authored several scientific publications.
