Biography
Prof. Joachim W. Deitmer received his PhD during the period of 1976. Currently, he is working as Senior Research Professor of Zoology/Neurobiology, University of Kaiserslautern since 2015.

Properties and functions of glial cells and their contribution to the information processing in the brain, glial membrane transport involved in shuttling metabolites between glial cells and neurons
