Biography

Prof. Michaela Leroch received her PhD at at the Department of Plant Physiology, Kaiserslautern University, Currently, she is working as Research Associate at the Department of Plant Pathology, Kaiserslautern University, Germany.

Research Interest

Michaela Leroch research is focused on the early stages of interaction between the asexual fungal spore (conidium) and its host plant, using knock-out mutants defective in MAP kinase signal transduction as well as in structural and sensory extracellular proteins (e.g. hydrophobins) to elucidate the regulation as well as the mechanisms of the early infection process.
