Biography
Prof. Wolfgang E. Trommer currently working as Professor in Department of Biochemistry, University of Kaiserslautern, since 2008. His Research is focused on Myasthenia gravis in a rat model as well as on the molecular mechanism of the immune suppression by gelonin-antigen conjugates.
Research Interest
His research interest includes: Studies of structure-function relationships in proteins and of protein-lipid interactions, Antigen-specific suppression of the immune system by means of antigen-toxin conjugates as a potential treatment of autoimmune diseases, Changes in membrane structure upon interaction with cyclic peptide antibiotics
