Prof Birgit Sander is Researcher and Research Group , Department of Economics for environmental and resource economics at the University of Kiel associated with the Kiel Institute for the World Economy. She holds a diploma and a PhD in economics from the University of Hamburg. She has a strong background in environmental valuation and environmental-economy modeling.
