Biography
"In September 2010, Britta completed her studies in biochemistry at the Martin Luther University in Halle. She completed her diploma thesis at the Institute of Anatomy and Cell Biology of the Medical Faculty of the Martin-Luther-University Halle-Wittenberg, in the working group of Prof. Bernd Fischer. She investigated the influence of maternal type 1 diabetes mellitus on methionine metabolism during preimplantation development in rabbits. From 2011 to 2015 Britta worked as a PhD student in our laboratory. She established the breeding of various transgenic mouse strains, with the aim to investigate the function of IGF2-mRNA binding proteins (IGF2BPs) in the metabolism and to elucidate. Her project was part of the scientific protein competence network ProNet-T3 and continuing the GRK1591. "
